With 15 years of distinguished experience, Carolyne has been at the forefront of developing and redefining brands. Her ability to convert first impressions into enduring loyalty is a testament to her strategic acumen.

Carolyne’s professional journey began at Longman Kenya, where she initially served as an Editorial Assistant. She then transitioned to managing customer service, expertly handling customer relationships and order processing.

Her career progressed as she joined IMG Kenya as a Client Service Manager, where she led client accounts and projects, delivered strategic public relations (PR) for corporate accounts, and crafted content for clients’ publications, including press releases, speeches, website copy, brochures, and editorials.

Her significant tenure at AAR Insurance Kenya spanned over seven years, where she held various pivotal roles. Starting as a Brand Officer, she meticulously developed and implemented strategic communications plans to bolster the organisation’s brand identity and visibility. As Brand Manager, she oversaw comprehensive campaign management, corporate branding, marketing activations, PR, advertising, and online marketing. Her subsequent role as Manager of Marketing and Customer Experience saw her leading the development and implementation of integrated strategic marketing, communication, and customer plans, fostering meaningful relationships with strategic audiences and spearheading the digital customer experience transformation.

Carolyne’s diverse experiences have aptly prepared her for her current role as Head of Marketing at Minet Kenya. Her journey through various strategic and leadership positions has honed her ability to craft and execute impactful marketing strategies.

Carolyne holds a master’s degree in Communication from Daystar University, a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Information Sciences from Moi University, a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketers (CIM) in the United Kingdom (UK), and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in Ireland.

Her professional affiliations include memberships in the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) and the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK), through which she continuously enhances her expertise and influence in the marketing and PR sectors.

In 2023, Carolyne was honoured as a Top Woman in PR by the PRSK, recognising her outstanding contributions to the field.

Beyond her professional achievements, Carolyne is passionate about empowering the next generation. She founded and runs the Sista to Sista Mentorship Programme, which equips girls in her village with essential life skills such as basic health, reproductive health and education, while also providing for their basic sanitary needs while at school.

In her leisure time, Carolyne enjoys reading and playing golf, pursuits that allow her to unwind and rejuvenate.
