Emily Kaiga's career was shaped in the journalism field. She was a versatile acquisition for the Nation Media Group’s (NMG) broadcasting division, cutting her teeth in TV and Radio as news reporter, editor, producer, and news anchor.
A significant milestone in her career was her dedicated service to the public during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. In recognition of her exceptional contributions, she was honoured with the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW) by the President of Kenya, marking her as one of the youngest recipients to ever receive this prestigious recognition.
