Accountable for a team of more than 200 people, she emphasized leadership that empowers managers, strengthens systems, and consistently delivers high Net Promoter Scores through efficient, customer-focused processes. Academically, Fawzia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Food Science and Technology from the University of Nairobi, where she graduated with First Class Honours. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Beyond executive responsibilities, Fawzia has contributed extensively to social impact through board and trustee roles. She served as Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee at the Safaricom Foundation and as Director and Chair of the Finance Committee at Moving the Goalposts, supporting initiatives focused on community development, youth, women, and the girl child, all efforts beyond the corporate role.
