Jubilee Children’s Fund – Investing in children’s future.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and realise their full potential. Yet for many children from underprivileged backgrounds, access to quality education and healthcare remains out of reach. Financial hardship, untreated health conditions, and physical disabilities continue to create barriers that limit opportunity and shape a child’s future.
Creating lasting change begins by removing these barriers.This is the purpose of Jubilee Children’s Fund, a social investment arm by Jubilee Group. Jointly funded by the Company and its employees, the Fund is committed to expanding access to education and healthcare for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, creating opportunities for them to thrive while contributing to stronger families and more inclusive communities.
A pathway to opportunity
Education remains one of the most powerful pathways to opportunity. Yet for many families, the cost of secondary education extends beyond school fees to uniforms and other essentials, placing quality education beyond reach.
Jubilee Children’s Fund helps bridge this gap through comprehensive secondary school scholarships that cover school fees and provide school uniforms for deserving students. By removing the financial barriers to education, JCF enables children to remain in school, complete their education and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
Every scholarship is an investment in a child’s future and the positive ripple effect that education creates for families and communities.
Restoring independence, dignity, and hope
Access to education, however, is only part of the equation. For children to learn, grow and reach their full potential, they must also have access to quality healthcare. Good health underpins attendance, participation, and confidence, enabling children to fully benefit from the opportunities education provides.
Through strategic partnerships, the Foundation is helping children access healthcare services that significantly improve their quality of life.
In partnership with Optica, it provides free eye screening services to school-going children, together with eye medication and prescription spectacles where needed. Early diagnosis and treatment help children overcome vision challenges that might otherwise hinder their learning and development.
The Foundation is also expanding access to mobility through its partnership with Jaipur Foot and CURE Children’s Hospital. Together, they provide prosthetic arms and limbs to children born without limbs or those who have lost them through illness or accidents. Restoring mobility enables children to return to school, participate more fully in everyday activities and engage with their communities with greater confidence.
These interventions go beyond addressing medical needs. They restore independence, dignity and hope, empowering children to participate fully in school, embrace childhood and look to the future with confidence.
Shared commitment to changing lives.
Making these aspirations a reality takes collective action. Through a shared commitment between the Company, its employees and trusted partners, Jubilee Children’s Fund is expanding access to education and healthcare, helping address some of the most pressing barriers preventing children from reaching their full potential.
To date, 6,095 children have benefited from free eye screenings, with 899 receiving prescription spectacles. 168 students are currently supported through the Foundation’s scholarship programme, while 91 have successfully completed their secondary education. Through its mobility programme, 210 children have regained independence through the provision of prosthetic limbs.
These efforts contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), reinforcing the role that partnerships play in advancing inclusive development.
Behind every scholarship awarded, eye screening conducted and prosthetic limb provided is a child whose future has been transformed.
By expanding access to education and healthcare, Jubilee Children’s Fund is doing more than meeting immediate needs. It is creating opportunities, empowering young people to realise their potential and helping build a society where every child has the chance to live a healthy, fulfilling, and dignified life.
